Remembering Mary Jo
A little soul who stopped by for awhile
September 26, 1962
Only the heart of a mother could know
That there is no time limit on love
For those that we have had to let go
And send back to Heaven above.
Forty four years have now passed on by
For this little angel who lived for a time
A sweet memory that lives in the tears
Of her Mother's eyes
While leaving her footprints behind.
No longer remembered by those here on earth
But never forgotten by the one who gave birth.
Who lost more precious angels along the highway of life
With a wound to the heart of a sharp edged knife.
God's finger touched you baby angel of mine
And took you back home in His own good time.
I may not know what tomorrow will bring
Or even be brushed by an angel's wing
But one thing I know when my soul is set free
That the Sweet Lord will return you to me!
